Monument

Inspired by Amos 3:7–8, Monument is a powerful reminder of the importance of recognising and responding to the voice of God.

Rooted in the Latin word monere, meaning "to warn," this piece reflects the responsibility we carry as believers when God entrusts us with His word. It reminds us not to ignore the convictions and promptings of the Holy Spirit, but to remain sensitive, obedient, and willing to be vessels through which God speaks.

God desires to reveal His heart, His mysteries, and His intentions to His servants. When He places a word within us, we must not allow fear, doubt, or hesitation to silence what He has called us to release.

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." — Amos 3:7 (KJV)

Monument is a call to spiritual sensitivity, boldness, and obedience. A reminder that when God speaks, we are called to listen, and when He gives us a word, we must have the courage to declare it.

"The Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?" — Amos 3:8 (KJV)
